yellow Restrictions of the functionality: We wish to have an age restriction for the ad network. (07/16/2012)

AppThere are some applications which display ads in the iPhone applications. This is good but there are some ads which shows the contents for adults even they are applications for all ages. In this reason, we cannot make them use for the children.

RestrictionsWe are not denying the all contents for adults. However, there is no zoning at this moment. There is no meaning for the zoning of the applications since there is no zoning for the ads.

We wish to equip a restriction of age for each ad network. More over, we wish to make users allow ads to be set age by choosing “Settings” - “Restrictions”. We also wish to equip a mechanism to eliminate ads that are against this setting from the ad network for iOS.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud.

red Podcasts: The episode’s state of the playback does not sync with the music application and iTunes. (06/29/2012)

The episode’s state of the playback in the Podcasts application does not reflect in the music application and iTunes.

We have confirmed the followings:

It is not well elaborated obviously.

Environment: Podcasts 1.0, iPhone 4, Version 5.1.1, Japanese, using iCloud, iTunes 10.6.3 for Mac.

Amendment (10/13/2012)

It is solved with iOS 6. After installing Podcasts application, Podcasts’ playback function disappears from the music application. Moreover, Podcasts became to be able to sync between iOS devices.

red Podcasts: Does not make use of the bigger screen size of iPad. (06/29/2012)

The only one program artwork of “Top Stations” from the selected genre is displayed when displaying the Top Stations from the Podcast application on the screen.

There is nothing to do with the program artwork to be displaying only one since iPhone has a smaller screen size. However, why iPad has the only one program artwork even it has a bigger screen size? Multiple programs will be displayed at the same time, and the selection of the programs will be easier if reducing the area of the artwork to be a half of its size.

Isn’t it the most disgraceful design for iPad to have a mere expansion of the iPhone application program?

Podcasts for iPad and iPhone

Environment: Podcasts 1.0, iPad 3rd, Version 5.1.1, Japanese, using iCloud.

red Podcasts: The user interface reproducing tape deck makes usability lower. (06/29/2012)

The application program of the Podcasts reproduces the real tape deck. In this way, the detailed texture is put on the mere background. This is a typically wrong UI that makes usability lower.

In the state where the program artworks are stored in the upper side of the screen, these artworks can be reappeared by tapping them that remain slightly in the screen. However, it is difficult for the users to aware in the following two reasons.

That is, the things that stand out have no functionalities and the things which have functionalities do not stand out in terms of the design. It is no doubt that these things supposed to be designed in order to make them difficult to use. It is required to review the design concept from the scratch.

Podcasts

Environment: Podcasts 1.0, iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud

Amendment 1 (07/26/2012)

The black frame has been disappeared from the Podcasts 1.0.1 version. This makes the edge of the artwork visible even when the program artwork is stored at the upper end of the screen. However, the problem of which things have no functionality but stand out meaningfully has not been solved yet.

Amendment 2 (03/22/2013)

PIt is solved with Podcasts 1.2. The UI representing the tape deck has been discontinued and has been rebuilt as the right UI. After Mr. Jobs who is completely found of the realistic UI design represented by the “Skeuomorphism” passed away, and Mr. Forstall who called himself as the follower has been actually relieved from his position. The era of the Skeuomorphism at Apple ended.

red Vulnerability: Cannot manage/delete cookies that are accepted by application's  browser function. (03/11/2012)

Each of the third party application connected to the Internet have proprietary UAs and cookies as a browser.

In the case of Safari, we can configure whether accept cookies or do not accept by using "Settings" application. Also we can delete accepted cookies. However, we cannot configure whether accept cookies or do not accept against the third party applications. We cannot delete accepted cookies.

Recently, the user-tracking by using cookies is questioned and violate ones privacy. It is said to be a vulnerability of iOS in a wide sense that it cannot protect from the violation of privacy through the third party applications. Eliminating this, it should be able to manage all the cookies of the third party applications with Safari by using "Settings" application in a centralized manner.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud

red Safari: There is no way to manage Cookies other than Remove All. (03/11/2012)

In the case of Safari, we can delete accepted Cookies in a centralized manner by using “Settings” application. However, being different from the Mac & PC versions of Safari, there is no feature to delete by each site. Safari should equip this feature.

However, the Cookie management of its Mac & PC versions is very antique. We can select only “Remove All” or “Remove” individually. It is not practical to perform the same operation as this in the iPhone’s small screen. On the other hand, it is required to equip the feature that enables to delete Cookies by setting the exceptions. Safari Cookies by SweetP Productions is made well in terms of this point. We wish to have a similar feature as a standard in the “Settings” application of the iOS version.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud

red Message: The pictorial symbols not received by the recipient. (03/11/2012)

When using SMS and MMS, only the pictorial symbols in the message do not received the recipient.

On the other hand, all the message including the pictorial symbols received by the recipient when using iMessage.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud

Information source: Apple Support Community - Japan (We cannot use pictorial symbols in Mail and MMS after updating to iOS 5.1 for iPhone 4)(Japanese)

red Music: The order of the Smart Playlist is incorrect. (03/11/2012)

A Smart Playlist which is syncing with iTunes10.6 is not displayed in the specified order by using iPhone.

Only the following 2 items from the solutions "iTunes 9: Smart Playlist not syncing as expected" in the Apple Support page are effective. This reduces the meaning of using the Smart Playlist by half.

It occurred in the time of iOS 5 and iTunes 10.5 but we have reported since it is not solved yet.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.1, Japanese, using iCloud, iTunes 10.6

yellow Mail: View/deletion of IMAP mail from other devices do not reflect in the Notification function. (11/27/2011)

When setting to notify the incoming mail in the Lock Screen, the sender and the subject of the incoming mail messages are notified. The same information is also displayed at Notification Center depending on the settings. However, the latest status is not reflected in these notification services even if the mail account type is IMAP.

Perform the following procedure:

  1. Send a mail to the iCloud account by using Mac computer.
  2. Confirm if the incoming mail message is notified in the Lock Screen of iPhone.
  3. Receive the mail message sent to the iCloud account and delete it by using Mac computer.

There is no mail message in the inbox of the iCloud account because the message is deleted by using another device. In this reason, we hope that the mail notification disappears from the Lock Screen of iPhone.

However, the mail notification does not disappear from the Lock Screen after 15 minutes set as the interval for checking the new mail message. More over, there was the same notice remained when pull down the Notice Center menu after releasing the lock.

More over, the deleted mail message has been disappeared from the Lock Screen and Notification Center when another mail message has been received in the iCloud account. The latest status seemed to have been reached to the device.

When the email accouht type is IMAP, please delete viewed/deleted email messages by using other devices from the Lock Screen and Notification Center as quickly as possible. Especially in the case of iCloud, we think that it is possible to achieve this function by pushing to the iOS devices every time when the status of the inbox changes.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0.1, Japanese, using iCloud

Amendment (09/23/2013)

We have performed above examination by using Mac computer and iPhone and later on we have confirmed that the results are same as the results inbetween iPhone and iPad.

Becoming iOS 7, it is improved. If we delete mail message by using one of the iOS devices, the message from the Notification Center is immediately erased in another iOS device when using the same iCloud account with more than one iOS 7 devices.

However, this happens only when deleting or moving the mail message to other mail box. Reading the message in one of the iOS devices, no change is shown in the Notification Center of the other iOS devices. That is, the status of unread is not synchronized.

When using IMAP mail services not supporting push notification, the timing of the reflection on the screen is not real-time but at the time of fetching the message next time. That is, above improvement is not for the new feature of the Notification Center. In addition, as it is improved even not only in the iCloud mail server, it is not a feature depending on iCloud as well.

When deleting imcoming mail messages by using Mail.app (Ver.6.6) running on OS X 10.8.5, iOS device’s Notification Center does not change immediately (will it be supported by OS X 10.9 Mavericks?) and will not change even after 15 minutes. In the case of IMAP mail services which are not supporting push notification will change at the time of next fetch.

It is assumed that the Mail app running on iOS 7 sends some notice to the Inbox at the time of deleting a message from the Inbox and other iOS devices may know the deletion of the message by receiving the notice. In the case of IMAP mail services which are not supporting push notification, it is supposed that it is one of the specifications to reflect the display of the Notification Center when confirming the message deletion at the time of fetching the mail message.

green We wish to backup to both iCloud and computer. (11/02/2011)

iCloud, Backup startTurning on the "iCloud Backup", the backup is not created on the computer automatically when connecting to iTunes. (It is possible to backup to the computer manually.)

On the contrary, we need to turn off the backup to iCloud in order to create the backup automatically to the computer when connecting to iTunes.

It is necessary to backup to the different location to secure data. We wish to have an option to backup both iCloud and computer.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0, using iCloud

yellow Video: Music video cannot be sorted by artist name. (10/17/2011)

When using iOS 4, the music videos are sorted and displayed under the artist name in the hierarchical view when there are 3 or more videos.

On the other hand, every videos are displayed in the flat view even there are 4 music videos of the same artist by using iOS 5.

Please revert to the specifications of the iOS 4 because it is difficult to handle when there are a lot of music videos.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0, using iCloud.

Information source: Apple Support Community - Japan (Music video sorted by artists in the hierarchal view)(Japanese)

red Calendar: Marked schedule is not displayed in the month view. (10/17/2011)

CalendarBeing different from the iOS 5 and earlier versions, the mark which indicates schedules in the month view cannot displayed. It has no meaning as month view since we cannot find scheduled date.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0, using iCloud.

Information source: Apple Support Community - Japan (A schedule in the standard calendar of iPhone 4 in the month view is not displayed even there is a scheduled date indicated by dot. There is no problem with list view and day view.)

It seems to be a bug when using iPhone since it is displayed by using iPod touch.

Amendment (10/23/2011)

The problem is solved by performing the following procedure. However, it is a bug indeed because it is not displayed from the beginning.

  1. Set "Calendar " as "Japanese" at "Settings" - "General" - "International".
  2. Launch "Calendar". (The display is back as normal.)
  3. 「Set "Calendar " as "Gregorian" at "Settings" - "General" - "International". (The settings has been back as original, but the display of the calendar stays as normal.)

green Reminders: We wish to set location in map. (10/15/2011)

Reminders - locationReminders which is added from iOS5 version has a functionality to remind when arriving at the appointed location. When we set this location, the content of the Contact application is displayed and we can choose registered persons or companies.

However, there should be locations where we want to set but can not associate with people and company or do not want to register by using Contact application since we will not set repeatedly.

Please provide "Set in Map..." below "Current Location", "Work", "Home" and "Choose Address..." and display Map application screen to be able to set any locations.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0, using iCloud.

Amendment (10/13/2012)

It is improved with iOS 6. As “Choose address...” has been changed to “Enter an address...”, we can select from the names in the Contacts application as before and we can enter any address as well. Moreover, “Show on map” button is added and we can confirm from the map after the entry whether the entered address is the intended place or not.

However, we cannot enter the address if we do not know it. As a result, it should be better to be able to select from the “Specify on map...” as well.

yellow We wish to have ColorSync for iOS. (04/17/2011)

Mac OS X equips advanced color management (ColorSync) as a standard feature and it displays images with various ICC profiles correctly. However, iOS does not equip it.

The following 3 images employ different ICC profiles for each of them.

CMScheck4A Fig.2 Fig.2

The source of the images: miyahan.com | LCD display and color management

In the case of Mac OS X, the color of these 3 images come out as the same by using general applications. Of course, Safari is included in them. (Fig.1: Safari 5 for Snow Leopard)

Fig.1(Fig.1)

In the case of Windows, the results are different from one application to another. They are displayed in the same color by using Safari / Firefox / IE 9, but the color changes and the images are displayed differently by using IE 8 / Chrome. (Fig.2: IE8 for Windows XP)

Fig.2(Fig.2)

More over, the color changes by using all the application including Safari running on iOS. (Fig.3: Safari for iOS 4)

Fig.3(Fig.3)

The cause is that iOS does not equip color management feature. That makes each ICC profile of the images being ignored.

There is no real Web experience for the browser without having color management feature. We hope iOS 5 to have the same color management feature as Mac OS X.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 4.3.2

Information source: Apple Support Communities - Japan (The color management of iPhone is as bad as the one running on Windows XP?)(Japanese)

red iPod: Japanese index does not work properly. (04/16/2011)

Displaying songs or album artists from iPod application, these index in the Japanese language does not work properly by using iOS 4.3.2.

  1. Set  "Settings" - "General" - "Language and Text" - "Language" as "Japanese".
  2. Open "iPod" - "Artists".

As it is Japanese display mode, artists with initial "あ" should be lined in the category of "あ" and artists with initial "A" should be lined in the category of "A". Using iOS4.3.1, this function works as above procedure.

However, the artists with their initial "A" are lined in the category "あ" and artists with their initial "B" are lined in the category "B" (Fig.1). The artists with their initial "K" are lined in the category "A" (Fig.2)

We wish it should be recovered immediately since the list view has no practical use.

In addition, this function works properly when setting "Language" as "English".The functional test for the Japanese language environment is not enough.

Fig.1 Fig.2 (Fig.1, Fig.2 in order)

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 4.3.2

Related feedback: List: We wish to have an Japanese index other than contact. (at the time of iPhone OS 2)

Related feedback: iPod touch: Index of the list view does not support Japanese. (at the time of iPhone OS 1)

yellow Remote: We wish to have an index supporting Japanese language. (12/26/2010)

In the iPod application software which is a standard feature of iOS the list index supports Japanese language. That is, "あかさたなはまやらわ" (Japanese phonetic index) is added in front of the English alphabetical index. However, English-only indexes are displayed in each list view of the "Remote" even the application software is made by Apple.

Operational steps

  1. Set as "Japanese" at "Settings" - "General" - "Language and text" - "Language".
  2. When opening the "iPod" - "Albums", there is an index at the far most right hand side. As it is a Japanese supported version, "あかさたなはまやらわ" is inserted between Search (upper most position) and "A". (Fig.1)
  3. When opening "Remote" - "Albums", there is an index at the far most side of the right hand side. As it is an English-only version, there is no "あかさたなはまやらわ" index existing. (Fig.2)
  4. Setting "English" at "Settings" - "General" - "Languages" -"Language", index of iPod also turns into English-only version.

Fig.1 Fig.2 (Fig.1, Fig.2 in order)

Consideration

At the time of iPhone OS 2.0, Japanese language was supported for an index of the list with a search feature. However, the list with no search feature was an English-only version. There is no search feature for the list since there is a search screen exclusive for Remote. The English-only version is existing because the search feature is not used in the list?

Wish

Please improve from the level of iOS so that it will be able to use an index of the Japanese supported version not only in "Remote" but also in all of the application lists.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 4.2.1 Remote 2.1

Related feedback: List: We wish to have an Japanese index other than contact. (at the time of iPhone OS 2)

Related feedback: iPod touch: Index of the list view does not support Japanese. (at the time of iPhone OS 1)

red SMS/MMS: Resulted in being unable to search. (12/17/2010)

Unable to search by using build-in "MMS/SMS" application ("Messages" in the English environment).

When searching a message by using sender's name, messages which are sent by this person are displayed.

However, "No results" is displayed when entering message titles and words which are used in the message body. The search results were displayed at the time of iOS4.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 4.2.1

Information source: Apple Support Communities - Japan (About MMS/SMS search)(Japanese)

red iPod: Cannot scroll automatically to the current playback song in the playlist. (12/05/2010)

Perform the following steps by using iPod application for iPhone.

  1. Tap any playlists in the "Playlists".
  2. Playback song by tapping "Shuffle".
  3. Press rewind "‹-" button and go back to the previous playlist.

Until iOS 4.1, the song being played has been marked and being in the scrolled state in advance to be found easily.

On the other hand, iOS 4.2.1 has a mark on the played song but the scroll position of the playlist stays the same as just before the Shuffle playback has begun. (The state where the top of the list is displayed.)

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.2.1

red iPod: Playlist button disappears. (11/25/2010)

Perform the following steps by using iPhone.

  1. Launch iPod application and playback music.
  2. Tapping "Playlists" tab and open Smart Playlist in the playlist.
  3. Confirm the Smart Playlist to be empty.

Originally, the "Playlists" button is displayed at the upper left in the screen. Tapping this, user can return to the original playlist. (Fig.1)

However, the "Playlists" button is really not displayed at the upper left in the screen. In this situation, we do not know why user cannot go back to the playlist even when tapping the "Playlists" tab. (Fig.2)

Fig.1 Fig.2 (in the order of Fig.1 and Fig.2)

We have encountered this phenomenon several times, but we do not know how to reproduce it every time. Tapping "Playlists" button in the Fig.1, we have experienced that user could not return to the playlist at least once.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.2.1

red iPod: Different TV programs are mixed up. (11/25/2010)

Perform the following steps by using iTunes.

  1. Prepare 4 episodes of TV programs.
  2. Enter the same artist name in the Artists column of the Info tab for all the episodes.
  3. Enter "TV1" in the "Programs" columns of the Video tabs for the first 2 episodes.
  4. Enter "TV2" in the "Programs" columns of the Video tabs for the remaining 2 episodes.
  5. Transfer "TV1" and "TV2" to iPhone.

"TV1" and "TV2" should be originally displayed in the category of "TV Programs" when viewing the "Video" tab of the "iPod" application for iPhone.

However, only "TV2" program is displayed actually. Moreover, 4 episodes are intermingled in the "TV2". It is not distinguished by information at "Programs" column.

"TV1" and "TV2" are displayed when performing the following steps.

  1. Enter "cat" at the "Artists" tab in the "Info" tab for all the episode in the "TV1".
  2. Enter "dog" at the "Artists" tab in the "Info" tab for all the episode in the "TV2".
  3. Transfer "TV1" and "TV2" to iPhone.

For this reason, it seems that the programs are distinguished by information at "Artists" column not at "Programs" column. This is an obvious bug.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.2.1

Information source: Apple Support Communities - Japan (TV programs are not listed by program names. (iOS 4.2.1 work around))

red iPod: Episode numbers of the TV programs are ignored. (11/25/2010)

Perform the following steps by using iTunes.

  1. Prepare 1 episode of TV programs.
  2. Empty "Track number" column in the "Info" tab.
  3. Enter "1" in the "Episode Number" column of the "Video" tab.
  4. Transfer the "Episode" to iPhone.

When looking at "Video" tab in the iPod application, "Episode 1" should be displayed originally under the name of the episode.

However, "Episode 0" is displayed actually. Information in the "Episode Number" column is ignored.

Entering as follows continuously, "Episode 2" is displayed.

  1. Enter "2" in the "Track number" of the "Info" tab.
  2. Transfer episodes to iPhone.

For this reason, it is displayed that "Track number", "Episodes" column programs are distinguished by information at "Artists" column not at "Programs" column. This is an obvious bug.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.2.1

red iPod: Ringing tone volume seems to be adjusted after using camera. (09/09/2010)

Perform the following procedure.

  1. Unplug the headset.
  2. Restart iPhone. (or shutdown iPod by choosing from the recent played application list.)
  3. Take a still picture by using camera.
  4. Start playing songs by using iPod.
  5. Manipulate volume button of iPhone. (or manipulate the slider in the iPod screen.)

Performing step 5., the volume of iPod changes by nature and the volume slider in the screen moves.

However, the volume of iPod does not change actually and the volume of ringing tone changes instead. The volume slider does not move when manipulating volume adjustment button. Manipulating the volume slider, the volume of the ringing tone changes by syncing with the slider. Both are abnormal.

Bringing back to the normal operation, perform one of the followings. After that, it works normally before performing above steps.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.1

red iPod: Released year is displayed wrong. (07/18/2010)

displays as Heisei 2010 year When using iPhone in Japanese language environment and setting Calendar as "Japanese" by choosing "Settings" - "General" - "International" - "Calendar", it displays "平成22年" (Heisei 22 year) instead of "2010年" (2010 year). For example, displaying album by launching iPod, "リリース" (Released) column should be displayed in the Japanese year.

In the case of albums which we purchased from iTunes Store, they are displayed in the Japanese year as we expected.

However, it displays as "平成2010年" (Heisei 2010 year) instead of "2010年" (2010 year) in the cases of albums ripping from CDs in the MP3 format and albums ripping from CDs in the AAC format. Apparently, there is a bug only in the case of ripping from the CDs.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.0

Information source: Apple Discussions - Japan (Japanese year is not correctly displayed)(Japanese)

Amendment (10/18/2011)

We have confirmed by using iOS 5 again and found that the situation is much more confused.

  1. Confirm "Calendar" to be "Gregorian" at "Settings" - "General" - "International".
  2. Confirm the release date of the album at "Music".
Fig.1The Gregorian calendar is displayed as expected. (Figure 1)
  3. Set "Calendar" as "Japanese" at "Settings" - "General" - "International".
  4. Confirm the release date of the album at "Music".
Fig.2Originally, it is displayed in the Japanese calendar but abnormal numeric character is displayed unexpectedly. (Figure 2)
  5. Restart iPhone.
  6. Confirm the release date of the album at "Music".
Fig.3Originally, it is displayed in the Japanese calendar but the numeric characters of the Gregorian calendar with the name of the Japanese era are displayed unexpectedly. (Figure 3)
  7. Set "Calendar" as "Gregorian" at "Settings" - "General" - "Language".
  8. Confirm the release date of the album at "Music".
Fig.4Originally, it is displayed in the Gregorian calendar but it is displayed in Japanese calendar.(Figure 4)
  9. Restart iPhone.
  10. Confirm the release date of the album at "Music".
Fig.5It is displayed in the Gregorian calendar as we expected. (Figure 5)

This phenomenon does not occur with albums bought from iTunes Store. It occurs in the albums ripping from CDs in the MP3 format and the albums ripping from CDs in the AAC format.

Environment: iPhone 4, Version 5.0, using iCloud.

yellow We wish to equip waterproof. (07/07/2010)

In the case of "au" the number 2 mobile phone operator and the service provider in Japan, all of their mobile phone models equip waterproof function. Then, their mobile phones do not fail with water splash. On the other hand, iPhone has no waterproof. That makes some fear to be failed by watering into Dock terminal for example.

We hope iPhone to be equipped waterproof from the next model.

red Keyboard: Wrong symbols are entered by using Japanese Ten Key. (06/28/2010)

,.-/ key pressed When we use Japanese Ten Key, it works as the numeric-input mode when typing in the order of ABC123 for example. When we press ,.-/ key once, then "," is entered and "." is entered when we press this key twice.

However, the reality is that "." is entered when we press ,.-/ key once and "." is entered when we press the key twice. The characters displayed and entered are different.

The result is incorrect since the key display is common with English-input mode of the Japanese Ten Key.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.0

Information source: Apple Discussions - Japan (There is a bug in the Japanese input method of iOS 4)(Japanese)

yellow iPod: Cannot distinguish "clear" and "delete" in the Playlist. (06/24/2010)

When using in the Japanese language mode, three buttons of "Edit", "Clear" and "Delete" ("編集", "消去" and " 削除" in Japanese mode) are displayed when opening the Playlist. We can assume the usage of "Edit" instantly, but we cannot assume the usage of "Clear" and "Delete". It is because "Clear" and "Delete" are the words that have different meanings, but "消去" and "削除" are the words that have the same meaning in Japanese.

When we tap these buttons, we do not understand the meanings yet. When we tap "Clear", "Clear Playlist" button is displayed and when we tap "Delete" button, "Delete Playlist" is displayed" ("プレイリストの消去" and "プレイリストの削除" in the Japanese mode). "プレイリストの消去”and "プレイリストの削除" are the phrases with the same meanings.

Please change these notations of these buttons. We would like to propose that "Clear" to be "全曲消去" or "Delete all songs" and "Clear Playlist" to be "プレイリストを空にする" or "Empty Playlist. It is allowed that "Delete" to be remained as it is, but we suggest that "Delete Playlist" to be an expression "プレイリストを削除する" in Japanese.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.0

green We which to support multiple user accounts. (06/24/2010)

Mac OS X supports multiple user accounts and single Macintosh computer can be shared with keeping privacy of the multiple users. However, we cannot share the equipment by multiple users since iOS 4.0 does not support multiple user accounts.

We understand that iPhone does not support multiple user accounts since it is a telephone, but iPod touch is supposed to be an equipment that could be used by multiple users. Moreover, iPad is an equipment which is supposed to be shared among the family users since iPad is the so called living-computer. Then, we wish to have multiple user accounts feature as same as Mac OS X has. Being only a guest account allowed, this situation will be improved.

Environment: iPhone 4, version 4.0

green Bluetooth: We wish to support apt-X codec. (06/24/2010)

When using Bluetooth headsets, it is comfortable to manipulate iPhone without suffering its cables.

However, the fidelity of the SBC codec used for Bluetooth headsets is not enough. Then, please support apt-X codec. It is high-fidelity and low latency codec for A2DP profile.

However, there is few Bluetooth headsets existing in the market that supports apt-X codec. Then, how about making Apple In-Ear Headphones with Remote and Mic which supports Bluetooth? Only Apple Inc. can supply high-fidelity wireless headset for iPhone.
